•    Recipient of “Versatile New Member” Award by prestigious society Academy of Medical Sciences for the first time in 2013.

•    Performed more than 1000 Heart Surgeries totally free of cost to the patients under Govt. Schemes in the rural hospital.

•    First one to establish Cardiac Surgery setup in this rural part of Maharashtra, at Acharya Vinoba Bhave Rural Hospital and performed the surgeries between years 2009-2015 in the rural area. This department is established into a teaching unit in 2012 and it was recognized by MCI for MCH Course in CVTs.

•    First one to do AWAKE beating heart (Bypass Surgery) CABG in Maharashtra.

•    First one in Central India to do Minimal Invasive cardiac surgeries.

•    First one in Central India to do VSD closure in Dextrocardia patient.

•    First one in Central India to do VSD closure in inoperable, severe PH patient by double flap valve PTFE patch.

•    Second one in the world and First Indian to do four grafts Bypass surgery in Dextrocardia- Anaortic Total Arterial Off-Pump CABG.

•    First time in India to do Dual chamber right ventricle with abnormal coronary artery crossing RVOT.

•    First one in Central India to do rare pediatric cardiac surgery like Cor-Triatriatum, dual-chambered right ventricle, BT shunt by using Father’s Vein as a conduit, Arterial switch.

•    Cardiac surgery fellowship at RNSH Sydney, Australia for 2 years.

•    First one to do Bentall surgery with MVR in Goa state.

•    Operated 5000 Cardiac surgeries successfully to date in the last 15 years.

•    Organized CME in past like “Live minimal invasive Cardiac surgery” and “Total arterial Anaortic CABG in TVD” as an organizing chairman.

•    Chaired a session on Pediatric Cardiac Surgery at National C.M.E. of Indian association of cardiothoracic surgery (IACTS) organized at Jaipur in 2015.
