Dr Girish Nair MD, DM ( Neurology) is Consultant Neurology at the NewEra Hospitals, Vashi

Dr Nair trained as an undergraduate in Medicine at TD Medical College, Alleppey ( Alappuzha) , Kerala. His MBBS training was marked with several academic achievements and distinctions including gold medals and certificates of merit. He earned his MD( Internal Medicine) from GMC Miraj and Kolhapur University as the Gold Medallist and DM( Neurology) from Bombay Hospital and Mumbai University as the Gold Medallist.

He brings to the Neuroscience team a wealth of experience and expertise, gleaned from 15 years in clinical practice, participation in clinical research and mentoring trainees in Neurology and Internal Medicine.

He has undertaken sub speciality training in Cognitive Neurology and Dementia from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, NewYork and in Stroke Neurology at the University of Heidelberg, Germany.

His areas of interest within Neurology include Multiple Sclerosis, Dementia, Stroke and Headache disorders. He is a polyglot who can converse fluently in English, Hindi, Marathi and Malayalam. He is also passionate about wellness, fitness and a prevention approach to health.
